Did you notice that the week the contestants did current music, there was no footage of them receiving instruction from a star? Sure, Shakira performed on the reveal night, but there were no little bits of her meeting with the contestants. It seems that was scheduled to happen but Shakira failed to show. Maybe that week would have been better if she had, but I don’t know that Shakira is a miracle worker.
