In an interview after the elimination, Bucky said Simon would never like someone like Bucky or Taylor because they “just aren’t his thing”. I think he’s on to something there. But I think that’s true of music and fans, in general. I didn’t like Kevin Covais, but my Mom actually did, so I guess taste truly is subjective. In any case, I appreciate that Bucky doesn’t take Simon’s criticisms personally.
