His exposure on American Idol is likely to allow him to do what he wants with his career and be succesful. Working with an established group like fuel would have meant less creative control. I think that if he had not been on American Idol or had been voted off early, he would have been better off signing with fuel. Having gained so much exposure by lasting so long in the competition, he is probably better off turning him down. Just my thoughts...
