My new, revised Top 12

So, if I got to personally choose the top 12, this is who I would handpick, based on the performances so far.
1. Blake Lewis
2. Chris Sligh
3. Sundance Head
4. Jared Cotter
5. Phil Stacey
6. Brandon Rogers
1. Lakesha Jones
2. Melinda Doolittle
3. Jordin Sparks
4. Sabrina Sloan
5. Gina Gershon
6. Stephanie Edwards
Unfortunately, this is who I would predict will actually be in the Top 12, at this point in time:

I think the top 4 girls are better than all but maybe Blake and Chris– at least based on performances, so far. Sundance has the potential to be really good, but hasn’t been consistent up to this point. So, I think you may well be right that the next American Idol may be a girl. However, America does get to vote, so for all I know Sanjaya Malakar might be the next American Idol– and wouldn’t that be a shame?

Antonella Barba has to go home. She stinks. She cannot hold a note and I feel she was very mean to Bailey who got ousted in the beginning. BYE BYE Antonella
I think you are right on. Blake and Lakisha are the two top running with this compitition. Will be interesting to see how the girls perform tonight and see if Lakisha and Melinda can continue to stay at the top.
Still to early to predict a winner, but I bet it will be a girl.
