American Idol 6– Top 11 theme

This week’s them is The British Invasion– featuring Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits and Lulu. That means music from about 1964-1967 from Great Britain, presumably. That would include bands such as The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, not to mention groups like Herman’s Hermits and Lulu. It should be a good week. Any predictions as to who will sing what and who will benefit most from this theme?

Here’s a clip of Herman’s Hermits singing “Something Tells Me I’m Into Something Good” from 1964 (are we sure this week isn’t really going to highlight the background singers?) and Lulu singing “Shout” (I’m not sure about the year, but I’d guess around 1964 when she released the song, which was originally written by the Isley Brothers in 1959). Is it just me or does her face completely NOT match her voice?
