American Idol 6– Top 3 Results

I’m just going to pretty much cut to the chase tonight. There was a lot of filler, including the trips home for each of the contestants (it was nice to see Jordin looking 17 and Blake with his family) and performances by Elliott Yamin and Maroon 5, but I know you really just want to know who is in the finale??
Jordin was the first one passed through, leaving Blake and Melinda. My husband was pretty sure this meant that it was going to be an all girl finale, but I wasn’t so sure. I was RIGHT!! Melinda was sent home tonight, and the finale will be Blake and Jordin.
I’m pretty happy about that. I think Melinda is fantastic, but she didn’t really need a win to have a career. It’s probably better for her to just move on to getting an album recorded. I imagine she’ll put out a gospel album, but I could be wrong.
(Oh, and in case you were wondering, the Ford commercial tonight was “Everybody Wants You”.)

i think melinda has the best vocal and she should have been in the finals,i believe that it is again a popularity conyest like last year.melinda you are great,and i am sure you will be more popular the any other contestants from idol 6.

I thought that the votes were unfair and that it was a bunch of bull. I didn’t think that Lakeisha should’ve been voted off nor Melinda. I love this show ! But for the past 2 seasons it has been very unfair and Again a bunch of bull. After Thrusday show I will not watch it anymore.

It ended up correctly. Youth is the way to go. Blake is the best contestant american idol ever had…

This past week Melinda finally finished the vocals on her CD! All of that happens quickly then we will see her CD on shelves this Fall! Also, keep your eye out for her first official single that should be hitting airwaves in the coming weeks. Melinda is going to be throwing a lot of music at us in the coming months so get ready!
