You don’t find a whole lot about Kyle Ensley’s singing when you look him up online. He did receive and impressive State Department Fellowship. You can check out his fraternity. Then there are a few more locations where you can find him listed for various positions he holds at OSU. You can see his audition below.

Hello all:
I am very upset that Kyle was dropped. I totally agree with Simon. This young man has something very special about him. When he sang ‘and lift me up’, I felt a surge of joy. He’s young enough to be one of my sons but he has a wonderful joy to him. I’m going to protest his dropping wherever I can.

I completely agree. He’s the ONLY reason why I’d watch American Idol. I’d actually make the effort to buy a CD from him instead of iTuning it for free. That’s how much I love him! Simon is completely spot-on and he knows that this industry needs someone like Kyle. He’s SO talented and SO sweet and SO fresh and SO genuine. You rarely see that these days! AGHHHH! I’m so sad he’s not in American Idol but Kyle is worth more than the whole pack! PLEASE KEEP SINGING KYLE! Don’t DISAPPEAR!

I am also very upset that Kyle didn’t make the Top-24. I was yelling at Paula and Randy! Kyle’s rendition of “You Raise Me Up” gave me goosebumps. I really think this guy should go into singing rather than politics. I would definitely buy a CD from him.

He was great, I was so sad to see him go.
Randy what were you thinking?? My guess is Randy said “no” first and Paula agree’d with him before hearing Simon say “yes”. Dumb Paula!

I might as well quit watching with Kyle Ensley gone. He was the only different and interesting one in the bunch … and, by the way, he had talent. He will be missed!!

BIG MISTAKE! BIG MISTAKE letting Kyle go, he has a fine voice. Paula & Randy screwed up, he was different but he was good and a pleasant individual.

I was watching this programme for the first time ever (I’m an Englishwoman living in France) and I absolutely adored this young man and thought his performance first rate. I am 100% sure that he will go far with his singing and he definitely should not be discouraged because two of the judges couldn’t recognise quality when they see it. It is a pity he didn’t get further in the competition, but frankly I think this type of commercial gimmicky show is almost beneath him. Onwards and upwards Kyle – I’d vote for you any day of the year!!

Does anyone know where to write to him?

Kyle was my fav, maybe not the strongest voice but his personality shines through! I would of loved to see him on the screen a lot longer !

I am so upset that Kyle Ensley was dropped from the American Idol competetion .What were Paula and Randy thinking ?
You can say what you want about Simon but he’s usually right (And he did NOT vote Kyle off)
