Drew Poppelreiter Popularity– REALLY???

Don’t get me wrong, I liked Drew. He seemed incredibly decent, but I can’t help but notice that over 30 of you, at present count, thought he was the best audition in Dallas. Are you legitimate fans, or Vote for the Worst people intent on throwing off even early tallies of who’s popular? I’m really interested to hear what the attraction is. So, someone who voted for him, speak up in the comments. What is it that you like about Drew Poppelreiter?

Drew was awesome. I’m a huge country music fan and i loved that he was on the show. I was so mad when he got voted off. Whats not to like? That twang in his voice, and his southern charm. Laides love country boys!, lol

Drew Poppelreiter was, i think, the best guy audition this season. Why did they not put him on the show tho? That was about retarded!! But his voice was amazing! I rewound and watched it over and over and over
He was really hot to so that might be another reason why im such a fan. Butttt i hope he auditions next year and gets on the show. I wish him the best!!

I didn’t vote originally, but I’d agree that he was the best audition in Dallas, and in the top 5 to date nationwide.
I’m definitely not a ‘throw the competition’ voter.
There’s just a quality to his voice that reminds me of Dan Seals, George Straight, etc.
With a little more refinement (which hopefully he’ll be getting on the show), I think he could truly break out on the national scene like Josh Gracin did.
I’ll be watching & voting!
