Who Do You Think Will Be The Season 8 American Idol Winner?
Will it be Adam Lambert or Kris Allen?
I am personally leaning towards Kris, but I think it’s going to be very close. It really depends on whether or not the Kris Allen fans and the Adam Lambert haters have bigger numbers than the Adam Lambert fans.
Both of them are very talented. So who do you think will be the 8th winner of American Idol?

I think you underestimate the power of the Adam haters. Most people seem to either LOVE Adam or HATE Adam. Personally, I like his voice and think he is talented, but I doubt I would be interested in buying his album. I am kind of luke warm on him. My favorite was Allison.

So it is no surprise that Kris actually wins it. The negative votes are the one that won it for him in the end. Voting “against the opponent” instead of voting “for him”.
I guess only a small fraction of those who voted for Kris will actually buy his album, and these are his real fans who actually “voted for” him. Those who voted against Adam will just go back to their lives and forget that Kris ever existed, of course many them don’t even watch AI, which is sad really, because I think Kris is a really nice guy.
At the end of the day, I doubt if Kris will even touch a million sales of his albums. So who is the real loser here, the victim of blatant voter manipulation?
On the other hand, by his exposure through AI, Adam is already an international star across the globe, with fans from Canada to the Philippines, to Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, even in the South American countries and the former Eastern Bloc and so on. In fact I have read of fans of Adam from every continent in the world.
This is what I meant by “(there is) only one winner”, regardless of whether he is crowned the American Idol or not, the voting system of which doesn’t reflect the true fan-base of the competitor.
Champion of democracy? American (Idol) is surely not!!! Communists laugh your hearts off! Blanket voting rules!

I do expect Adam to have a great career in music. He is very talented and some people seem to LOVE him.
I am sure Kris will do well also. Kris can really sing, he just needs a better stage presence.
Is that a trick question? I can see only one winner there.
Kris can only win with the votes of Danny plus the votes of the Adam haters and the votes of the Fundamentalist Church who are doing the un-Christian thing by telling people who never even watch AI to vote against Adam (as opposed to voting for Kris).
Is this popularity show now being reduced to a campaign of hate? Welcome to America!!
