Okay, it’s obvious that so many people have been touched by Sherman’s story. I’ve been trying to figure out how to honor this man and his sweet departed love. SO– here is what I’ve come up with. For every person who visits the petition and signs it AND comes back here and leaves a comment that they have voted for Sherman to come back as a special guest on American Idol, my husband and I will donate $1 to the American Cancer Society in honor of Sherman and in memory of Melissa. We will do this for an amount up to $150. To vote for Sherman’s return, click on this link . Once you have voted, return and let us know. If you already voted for his return, let us know below. Also, if anyone else would like to match our contribution, that would be great. Just leave us a note below if you plan to donate. This will, of course, be on the honor system. But I think the best way we can show how touched we were by Sherman is by donating money to the cause of helping people with cancer.
