Brian May feels like his comments (particularly those to Ace Young) were unfairly portrayed on the show. Apparently, he didn’t really hate what Ace wanted to do. It was just the way it was portrayed from the editing.
Also, Queen had never intended to appear on the show Wednesday. Unlike Shakira and Prince who didn’t want to interact with the contestants, the Queen band members were ONLY interested in interacting with the contestants.
That is incredible. I got that he hated Ace’s performance. I agree with Brian May, these should be private, especially if they are going to twist around everything and make is so things that never happened, happen.
Well that is good to hear. I feel sorry for Ace and Brian. I wish the media wouldn’t do that to people.
I still think Ace should have gone home, it was not a good rendition of We will Rock You. It was probably the worst performance from the final 12 this year.
