Due to things going on around here last night, I was unable to watch the elimination show last night or write about it until now. I know that the bottom three were Elliott Yamin, Ace Young, and Bucky Covington— with Bucky being eliminated. You probably already know all that, but not my feelings on the subject.

I have no idea why Elliott was in the bottom three— oh, wait! Yes, I do know. He has bad teeth (not that that’s a good reason). I really thought his performance was the best performance this week, bar none (including Taylor). Yes, sometimes he’s a bit awkward to watch, but he was the only one who came close to doing justice to Queen.

I was also entertained by Bucky this week. Paula Abdul must get on speed dial and call away the second the show is over to keep Ace in this thing. It’s the only possible explanation. He was beyond “not good” this week. He was BAD! Aargh. It’s getting to the point where I’m starting to get annoyed with him, and it’s not really HIS fault. I mean, presumably, he’s not the one voting for himself enough times to keep him in the competition.

So, anyway, there we have it. Another Idol elimination week, and now we prepare for next week— Rod Stewart!
